Originally from Nepal, Ruma’s journey in nursing began with her education in Nepal and continued with a Bachelor of Nursing from the Australian Catholic University in Sydney. Kim Riley, General Manager of QCS, has high praise for Ruma’s contributions. “Ruma is a vital member of our team. Since starting the role of Clinical Support Nurse Educator, Ruma has listened to the team and built an education and clinical support framework that supports our team. This framework provides upskilling and clinical support, allowing the team to grow,” Kim remarked. She noted that Ruma recently coordinated four days of education on palliative and end-of-life care, showcasing her proactive approach and dedication to the role. “Ruma has really taken this role forward in such a short space of time and has become a mentor and leader. We are so lucky to have Ruma as part of the team,” Kim added.
